AMIGO v2.27.0 Release Notes — Summer '26

Released: July 28, 2026Version 2.27.0 — includes all changes since v2.26.0

IN THIS RELEASE

New Features

My Workspace — Your New Home Tab

My Dashboard now opens on My Workspace, a single place to see and act on everything assigned to you:

  • A unified work queue that brings together your Work Packages, Deliverables, Test Plans, Action Items, Issues, and Defects — driven by your RACI assignments and roles, with expandable rows showing full details and the people involved.
  • Project cards with your upcoming milestones, plus quick filters by role, workstream, and record type.
  • A "This Week" timesheet snapshot showing your billable and non-billable hours at a glance.
  • Recent items and message previews so you can jump straight back into your work.
  • Respects the global Org → Portfolio → Program → Project filter like every other dashboard tab.

Portfolio Evaluation Analytics & Ranking

Portfolio evaluations now go beyond simple score averaging:

  • Programs are ranked by a composite of evaluator agreement, head-to-head win rate, and scoring consistency, with a confidence indicator that tells you how decisive the result is.
  • A clear recommendation card highlights the preferred and least-preferred programs, and an evaluator progress panel shows who has finished scoring and who hasn't.
  • Evaluation results are saved as records when an evaluation completes, so you can build native Salesforce reports and dashboards on ranking history.

Automated Approval SLAs

Approval service-level agreements are now handled by a single automated engine across all AMIGO objects:

  • Counts down the configured auto-approval days for each pending approval.
  • Sends reminder emails to approvers who still need to act as the deadline approaches — honoring each user's notification preferences.
  • Automatically approves items when the countdown expires, so approvals can't silently stall.
  • The nightly job schedules itself on install and upgrade; no manual setup required.

Billing & Cost Rate Tables

  • New billing and cost rate management screens with support for user-level and program-level rates.
  • Bulk rate editing across users and programs.

Earned Value KPIs & Project Cost Rollup

  • New Earned Value, Cost Variance, Schedule Variance, Percent Complete, Actual Cost, CPI, and SPI measures for project cost and schedule management.
  • Automatic project cost and billing rollups, including approved-status handling and robust time-tracking cost calculations.

Project Plan (Gantt) Enhancements

  • Start Project flow with an Auto Pilot configurator and Ready-to-Execute improvements.
  • Live critical path with persistence and row highlighting.
  • Work-package date pinning (must-start-on) so plans can be adjusted at any point, with auto-baseline on project start.
  • Edit work packages in place, directly from the Gantt.
  • New read-only Effort column showing calculated effort (duration × assigned resource units); effort remains editable through the work-package form so values can't be changed accidentally inline.
  • Column show/hide now works reliably from both the column picker and the column menu, and columns introduced in new releases appear in a sensible position even when you have a saved column layout.

Benefit KPI Tracking

  • Benefits can now capture a KPI Name, KPI Definition, and KPI Formula.
  • A new quick action creates RACI assignments directly from a Benefit.
  • The Benefit form adds Value Driver and User Defined fields with smarter field enable/disable behavior.

Program/Project Phase Model & Form Consistency

  • Phase picklists are now sourced from Program multi-phases and Project methodology.
  • Changing a Project's methodology now prompts a confirmation dialog instead of a hard block, and real save errors are surfaced.
  • Consistent sizing and scrolling behavior across all New/Edit forms.

Global Dashboard Header Filter

  • A cascading Org → Portfolio → Program → Project filter now applies across All Dashboards and all My Dashboards tabs.
  • Your filter selection persists across refreshes and can be shared via URL.

My Messages & My Approvals Redesign

  • My Messages redesigned as an inbox layout.
  • My Approvals rebuilt as a modern grid with Project/Program columns and a mass-approval progress loader.

Dashboard Standardization & Modern Charts

  • The Org, Portfolio, Program, Project, and Work-Stream dashboards now share a consistent shell with tab navigation, and your active tab persists across page reloads.
  • New donut summary cards across dashboards, plus new KPI and metric blocks: project metrics, financial metrics, operational metrics, deliverable metrics, budget utilization, team workload, assignment types, and planned-vs-actual summaries.
  • New analysis charts for benefits, costs, benefit-and-cost combined, and work-package completion, plus a 4-tier risk severity heat map.
  • Legacy status charts replaced with filterable grids with clickable links to related records, and RACI role mapping for clearer accountability.

Cutover Plan — Grid & Gantt

  • New cutover plan visualization with inline task creation, row reordering, and predecessor/successor display.
  • Owner assignment writeback, dynamic owner filters, and an inline status editor.
  • Duration-to-end-date synchronization and 12-hour datetime formatting.
  • Tuned for very large plans (~20,000 rows).
  • Columns are driven by a configurable field set, so admins can add custom columns without code changes.
  • New Cutover Task tab.

Timesheet / Time-Tracking Overhaul

  • Redesigned timesheet with a single-page layout and agenda view.
  • Week summary showing billable and non-billable hours, timesheet approver, and status.
  • New pagination footer with week date-range labels and a jump-to-date picker.
  • Priority icons and clickable record links in event tooltips and menus.
  • Calendar-and-form synchronization, time entry overlap validation, a billable toggle, and read-only mode once a Time Report is submitted.
  • A Chatter feed section is now available while editing time entries.

Resource Utilization Rebuild

  • Resource utilization rebuilt on a modern scheduler with program-level and global views.
  • Multi-project view with a project picker, view presets, header navigation and filters, onboarding steps, and improved fullscreen handling.

Work Package Dependency Chain

  • Visualize a work package's dependency path as a Gantt chart, with directional tracing of predecessors and successors and hop-level calculations.
  • Critical work packages are flagged, and styling matches the main project-plan Gantt.

Improvements

  • Adaptive forms everywhere: ~95 New/Edit screens standardized on viewport-relative sizing, so forms adapt to your screen without clipping or excess whitespace.
  • Strategic Datum: the New/Edit form now offers Datum Type and Governance Classification as picklists with dynamically loaded values.
  • Drilldown modals: chart drilldowns modernized with a compact, sortable grid.
  • Dashboard data: additional fields and statistics across dashboard views, optimized queries for issue logs, action items, and work packages, stacked display for the Program Evolution chart, corrected Past Due aging buckets on the Defect Dashboard, and contextual empty states with a Browse call-to-action.
  • Navigation: reorganized roadmap/administration menu, and new data-model fields — Work Stream Owner on Object, and the Strategic Datum classification fields — all granted in the core field permission set out of the box.

Bug Fixes

  • Field access for new fields: the six fields introduced in this release (Benefit KPI Name / Definition / Formula, Object Work Stream Owner, Strategic Datum Type / Governance Classification) are granted in the core field permission set, so all users can see and edit them immediately.
  • Charts resilient to restricted access: benefit and cost analysis charts and NPV / total-benefit calculations no longer fail for users with restricted field visibility — queries now respect each user's field access, and charts render an empty state instead of erroring.
  • Fixed record unlocking for non-admin users during approval flows.
  • Fixed the status label not populating for Work Packages.
  • Fixed collapsible column behavior in dashboard grids.
  • Fixed the comment feed not resetting when editing a time-tracking entry, and corrected feed visibility between view and edit modes.
  • Dependency chain view corrected to show only the directed path, with accurate dates and theming.
  • Gantt: work-package start dates can now be moved earlier, and the status form appears correctly after in-Gantt status changes.
  • Corrected wording in approval and rejection email notifications.
  • Corrected Test Scenario sequence number precision.

Under the Hood

Roughly 80 duplicated scheduler, batch, and email-alert classes were consolidated into the new Approval SLA engine; the legacy classes remain as safely deprecated stubs so existing org customizations and upgrades are unaffected. The new evaluation-results object ships fully packaged with permissions. Version metadata was updated for the 2.27 release line.

Release Quality

  • Built with a full Apex test run at 77% code coverage (passing the 75% requirement).
  • Fresh installation verified in a clean, namespace-free org.
  • Upgrades verified from both v2.26.0 and v2.26.1: post-install jobs completed cleanly, and the new field permissions were confirmed to propagate automatically to existing installations.
  • Package version 04tOS00000MHo29YAD promoted to Released on July 28, 2026.
